The Master's Program in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation was established in 2021 under the Institute of Health Sciences. The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation aims to educate physiotherapists who are pioneers in new methods and practices on national and international platforms under the guidance of science. These physiotherapists are envisioned to be innovative, capable of delivering accurate, fast, up-to-date, and effective information flow, and to plan and implement rehabilitation practices based on scientific foundations. These practices encompass physical, psychological, social, environmental, and societal approaches, fostering specialization in various fields.

Program Profile (Objective)
The program aims to provide graduate physiotherapists with education in specialized physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches that meet international standards, lead the development of new theories and methods, and instill an awareness of technological research topics. It seeks to produce graduates who are well-versed in and apply ethical principles of evaluation, treatment program development, and standardization. Additionally, the program aims to educate expert physiotherapists who apply new methods in their theses and conduct research that influences clinical rehabilitation programs.
Program Qualifications (Learning Outcomes)
The graduate follows scientific developments related to basic measurement, assessment, and treatment techniques specific to the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and applies the knowledge gained in their professional and academic work. The graduate plans research, participates in projects in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, interprets the results, writes reports, and presents or publishes them in meetings. The graduate contributes to public health and policies.
